I’d just watched us lose 2-1 away to MK Dons and draw 1-1 at home to Nottingham Forest. And this was all whilst feeling still quite disconnected from the club. What a difference!

    Golded.
    Cracking reflection that.

Really is unbelievable how far we have come on since, and some people need to keep remembering that when they give Warnock a bashing after we lose 5-1 to man Utd, saying he's out of his depth n shit.

    :oocc:

Last year we conceded a 90+1 against Preston, losing the game 1-0

Don't think anyone is knocking what nw has done for the club and where he has taken us but he is not the he man to take us forward ..if we manage to stay up this season parting company with Warnock is a must

This time last year was that horrendous run where after the Christmas Party we played like shit for 5 games. I think we lost to QPR and Bolton as well as being thumped by Fulham.

    I disagree
I’d be quite happy with another 1 or 2 years with Warnock as manager, be that premier league of championship

The mans fantastic, I love him ( no homo)

No matter what league we're in I can't handle watching another 2 years of Warnock football

Personally I’d like NW to go when he wants to, ideally staying on as a director of football or advisor role. As a minimum, I’d like to see him sitting in the directors box like you see Ferguson, Dalglish etc

People talk about the promotion, and that’s great, but he’s done so much more than that. He’s given us back our pride, he’s united the fans and made us feel part of the club again, and he’s shown the board how to run a football club.

Admittedly he has done a lot for the club off the field but a 70 year old director of football no ty ...football has moved on Warnock hasn't ..if we want to be successful we need to move with it ...at the end of this season thank him for the groundwork he has done and bring someone in who can build on it

I agree he should be welcome here for ever. I'm not sure a director of football role would suit him. If he was DOF and it worked like other clubs then he'd be responsible for all transfers. His record is patchy when it comes to spending money yet excellent when it comes to free signings. For a Premier League club if that's what we end up remaining then that would be an odd situation. Just something to consider.

Fair point. Maybe a non-exec Director then, advising the board on football and community engagement then.
