I met Alan Gilzean many years ago in White Hart Lane. He was doing some meet and greet work. A lovely gentleman and a good player in his day. Sad news. RIP Alan. Thank you for a lovely day in your company.

Watched Gilzean play often towards the end of his career when I was living in North London. Another of those very good Scots who might have pushed for an England place had he been born south of the border .

Sad news to come back to from a holiday. Remember him very well. When I was a teenager I used to make sure that everything stopped on a Saturday evening, if Gilzean and Spurs were on Match of the Day. He was a tremendously skilful player in a day and an age when crunch tackling was still allowed in the game.

Brilliant! Sicily, Sorrento, Civitavecchia, Corsica and Palamos then back to Mallorca. Would thoroughly recommend a cruise for those that have never tried one before.
