Cross for me - it was against Derby, we won 4-1 and it was his first goal for the club.

I remember it, cross for me as well.
    Couldn't remember the opposition though.
Bob, was that the game when we scored a goal that looked miles offside but one of their players had touched it.
I remember a 4-1 game with that goal as it was the first time I'd taken my nephews down and they expected those kind of results every game.

Yeah that's the game. Earnshaw and Kav scored the others. The attendance that day was 15,091 in case anybody is interested.

    :hehe:

Yes, I think you're right - seem to remember that there were a lot of Derby protests about the goal Earnie scored to make it 3-1 I believe. Arkay Dubya is also right about James Collins, who deputised for the injured Danny Gabbidon, scoring, he got the fourth one and I think Kav scored the second from a penalty.

Was on Sky somebody said. It was also the game where a 16 year old Tom Huudlestone made his debut. He was massive even then I remember thinking.

Yes, it was televised, but I'm sure it was on an August Bank Holiday Monday, because I'm pretty certain we'd won at Forest on the Saturday after only taking one point and failing to score in our first two matches back in the old Second Division - we played really well at Forest and I can remember thinking we'll have no trouble surviving at this level after the Derby win.
