Just been to watch this in the pictures; absolutely incredible film. You don’t need to be a Queen fan, just a fan of music.
Rami Malek is awesome as Freddie but for me Gwilym Lee as Brian May was flawless, had him down to a tee!
    You’ll laugh, you’ll sing along, you’ll cry.... it’s amazing!

    AAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

I'm not Queen's biggest fan but like them and wouldn't mind seeing this. I hate going to the pictures though so I will patiently wait for it to be stocked at my local Blockbusters.

But did you see it in 4DX though? You could smell Wembley Stadium.

Looks alright actually. I wouldn't want to be sat with all those kids though so I'll give it a miss.

There were less than 10 of us in the whole cinema.

Will be going to see it.
I've heard a few negative reviews and supposedly the script skirts round this that and the other.

    It's a 7 out of 10 from me.

The casting was superb. The guy who played Brian May looked more Brian may than Brian may.

It moves at a fast pace and certainly does skirt past issues.

The original director got sacked didn't he a few months from completion?

Ignore the critics!! I've seen it twice now, once with Mrs Europe on opening night and with my kids on the weekend. Both times in the 4DX seats (first was by mistake).

It's brilliant and for a long film, it just flies by.

The Live Aid scenes are incredible, and as said above, the Welsh bloke who plays Brian May is more like Brian May than Brian May himself!

With the 4DX seats moving in time with the action, scents to match the scenes and squirting jets of liquid, I'm incredibly grateful this wasn't the X rated story of Freddie's life

    :yikes:

Absolutely fucking hate Queen, overblown pompous bollocks.
As it's produced by the ex members I assume it doesn't cover the time the already rich bastards decided to play the apartheid era Sun City just for more money?
Not many bands get put on a U.N. blacklist, so well done Freddy and the twats.
Still probably watch it when it pops up on a dodgy link though..

I watched it via a cam video i downloaded. It was annoying though, I kept seeing a little silhouetto of a man, scaramouche, scaramouch, off to the fucking toilet.

Who needs reviewers when you've got the OOCC team? I rarely go to the flicks but I'm very tempted for this one.

I took Mrs Blue to watch it in an Everyman cinema; sofas, waitress service for food and drink and only about 4 or 5 couples in the whole cinema.
Like Arfur said, for a long film it flies by!

Queen were pretentious twats and Freddie Mercury was as dodgy as fuck. Plenty of rumours, most know them, most not true, but if even 1 is true it puts him on a par with real sleazy fuckers.

The Brian Wilson story - a true flawed genius - is worth a watch, but I recommend listening to Pet Sounds a few times before watching.

In the worst possible way - I get that he is well loved and well admired but I think he has a dodgy past. I am probably wrong, but regardless I've never really liked his music, never understood why it is held in high regard, and always felt it was over cooked and pretentious.

A great showman, though, and he basically turned Live Aid from a shit event into a brilliant event single-handedly.
