Some good ones from @Mad Al
Agreed. He beat me to Greg Farrell, the swine!
He missed George Edwards, he is slipping up. Mind that is going back.
On the other hand George Johnston was a good call.
Flash of inspiration - Emyr Huws (again)
Who could forget Fergie Aitken
well done @Knees up Brian Clark i had to google them
Thanks had Fergie ,Len and Earnie’s photos on my bedroom wall as a kid
Fair play. I'm not sure where you pulled them from, but must have taken some research.
I've never seen that, but know that Richard Shepherd devoted years to researching and archiving City's history.
i've got 6 players left on the list. as the @the other bob wilson would say 1 from the 80's, 3 from the 90's and 2 from the 00's
A couple of copies on Ebay just now for around £20.
that particular book is like a diary for me it has results, attendances, city team and scorers every season up to 2001/2,love the years from 64 onwards when l saw my first game ,and at 20 pound would in my opinion be worth every penny
It is very tempting. I love the traditional stats side of football. Not so much the modern in depth stuff, which ultimately, is fairly meaningless.
Permanently, on the corner of my desk, is a copy of Barry Hugman's PFA Players Records 1946 - 2005. A lot of what is in there is on Wiki these days, but the book is a goldmine of info and so easy to dip into and browse.
