Premier League II: Electric Boogaloo
There are countless examples of cross border sporting participation across the world.
This oft used response to Welsh Independence is moribund.
Here is a lengthy list of football clubs playing in a different country's league system for those interested, and there are countless other examples from other sports:

To be fair I think sky will be the judge of this if it’s not commercially viable for them it’s dead in the water
I think this whole situation will actually be the ignition for the breakaway European Super League which has been talked about by the G14 clubs for years.
You'll then have a new Premier League made up of those left behind and the cream of the Championship clubs, forming a new Premier League.
That might even open the door for Celtic and Rangers.
Whether we are participating will probably be out of our hands, unless we have some very clever and connected people involved.
Well of course, if there's no big bucks then it won't happen. But there are foreign TV deals too.
I can't see there being much interest, but there is a big market out there and lots of the clubs have been in the premier league so their names are known.
I reckon what should happen is that the championship should break away and form Premier League 2. Then league 1 should break away and form Premier League 3. And finally League 2 should become Premier League 4.
Then the National League should become The Championship and the leagues below should be called league 1 and league 2.
Some would suggest that it’s a pointless load of old bollocks as they are simply renaming the same product, exactly as they did in 1992. And those people would be correct.
Will be the end of the football pyramid as we know it. Clubs are dying on their arse as it is.
I thought this would be right up your street, the big boy rich cunts taking a big massive shit on the poor little fellows, any breakaway leagues will finish football imo but opens the door for the arm chair twats who decided to support a club they never go and see, even in our dark days we all dreamed of getting to the top and even though a lot of the time it seemed impossible we fucking done it, ok it wasn’t how we would’ve liked it but I honestly had a tear in my eye after that charlton game
The rise from the dungeon to the championship was fantastic too.
That first season in the Chanpionship was one of my favourite seasons.
Cardiff are back, Cardiff are back,
You call me a lazy boy, but retort with the words
"Could" "potentially" "if".
I mentioned that exact time in my post on the giving up fags thread.
Beating the mighty Nottingham Forest scabs away 2-1 with two very early goals from Earnie and Kav in the baking hot sunshine.
That was a great day to be alive
Your question was "how WOULD they get more money", where WOULD is in the subjunctive mood (for an unreal or imaginary situation).
If you were certain, you would ask "how WILL they get more money"
And they're not my words. They're in the article.
Fuck's sake, I work on Thursday afternoons now, whereas in my last job I couldn't go on weekends!
Who wants Cardiff to be a part of this gang of assholes?

You get No luck mate
You not going back to the discos when this is all over then Steve?
It sounds great when you are a fan of a Championship club. It shits on all the other clubs though, and these clubs are already finding it hard because of Covid. It's not survival, it is greed.
