If it means Clive having the banner forever then I agree too.
Proposed and seconded then.
Twitter account reported deleted. The player has apparently bottled it.
He’s backed out then
Not sure what direction he was headed. Maybe that was the problem?
Cannot believe anyone thought this was genuine.
this your all mugs i new all along
Some very gullible people around......
I have no time for Twitter anyway, but the strange thing about this was the mainstream press, including the BBC, picked up and ran with the story at the outset.
With respect TDA, the above mentioned would pick up dog shit if they thought they could get a story and a few hits out of it!!
With regards to the vast majority of what I would call the "modern online Press", then yes, I agree. However, I am not quite that cynical in respect of more traditional reporting sources.
Jim White of Talk Sport and Sky Sports spoke to him and confirmed there was an actual player. Even changed his yellow tie to a rainbow one. Thats good enough for me.
Such a shame that he felt unable to express himself, but maybe he shouldn't have built it up in the first place.
Casually announce it, and I'd like to think most people would be like yeah? so what? can you do a better job than zohore?
I take your point but I think its fair to say (IMO) that "Traditional" reporting is unfortunately becoming a thing of the past. Most "news" sources demonstrate this through their eagerness to be first as opposed to being factually accurate and unbiased. But I appreciate your view.
