I'm a seven out of 10 type I think. A good bhuna. If it's Jerk Chicken though I like it hotter. A friend of mine likes stupidly hot ones that make you sweat. All I can taste is burning with them. Ruins it for me.

11/10 with green chillies, like proper Pakistani style :hehe:

I add extra chillies to my chicken karahi

There are so many good flavours that can be brought out in a curry, it's a shame to mask them with too much chilli. Last night I made an almost madras strength lamb curry with red/green peppers, ginger, tomatoes, sweetened with dates and a little mango chutney. Lovely stuff.

I’m on the medium to hot part of the curry spectrum.

True, but the amount of chilli you get in curry houses here is way too little and inauthentic

Try having a curry in Pakistan :hehe:

You should call the Masalas on him.

I do like a hot, hot one, but never on a school night, I like the delicate stuff too.
Jalfrezi with extra chillies is my fave.

I can't enjoy a really hot one. Though my chili meter is rising with age.

I have gotten used to hotter curries. A 'hedonic shift' I think it's called. Or just liking them spicier as I get older. Not too spicy mind. I do like a really spicy Singapore style Chow Mein Noodle dish though.
