I like a madras, a pathia or a jalfrezi from the Indian. Had a madras last night from Gateway of India. The firecracker chicken from wagamama is mental hot but also very tasty. A som tam would be nothing without the firey chilli - you need the heat to balance the sweet & sour. I had a great Malaysian dish in St Ives a few years ago, I don’t think I’ve ever had a hotter curry but it was so full of flavour I had to finish every bit. There’s a photo of me eating it and I’m a mess of sweat & my eyes are glazed. I created something of a biohazard incident in the Barbara Hepworth sculpture garden toilet the next day.
