You seem to be off the pace TH. It was the electorate who made that decision, back in 2016. The politicians are tasked with achieving a result in line with that decision.

Yes I know, the same electorate who you described as "studiously prefer to pay more attention to Strictly Come Dancing and I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here." whilst insisting that they had plenty of time to conduct their own research into the subject prior to voting.

You can surely see where I'm going with this. If Ant and Dec can show a particular celebrity in a positive light which would make the audience vote for that celebrity, a skilled manipulator in the MSM would find it a walk in the park.

It's like me saying "I want to play up front for Cardiff City, now off you go splott dai and make it happen.

Look how quickly David (Call me Dave) Cameron has distanced himself from Brexit. When asked about it in the street by a journalist, his reply was,' I'm here to talk about dementia'.

Cameron rolling the dice to appease the right in order to hang onto power even though clearly in his opinion it wasn’t the right thing for the country.
May doing a deal with the Ulster fascists to hang onto power, even their odious views are not in the national interest.
Hmm, I’m beginning to spit a common theme here.
