I can just imagine the situation if I was behind you
I rarely buy anything from the ground, the odd pie or bovril if it’s bastard freezing mun, and I usually quickly rush down during a break in play so I don’t have to queue (it never fails to surprise me how many people hang about under the stands watching the game on the screens) but I really fancied a half time pint this week.
Well I needn’t have bothered, one look at the ridiculous queues this week and I went back to my seat.
It’s bad enough having to pay £5 a pint, but I’ll be fucked if I’m queuing 20 minutes for the pleasure.
Germany is much the same, too.
Not bothered myself as I rarely buy anything there but it’s good to hear that there will still be some cash tills. Not everyone wants to go cashless
