So Stephen Kinnock votes for remain when the people of Aberavon voted to leave.
Should be ashamed of himself I suppose he's looking after Neil and Glenys EU pensions.

In an effort to gain support for the Labour party and to prove he can be trusted, Jeremy Corbyn has bought Dianne Abbott a moped.

So. the people of Aberavon voted for a Remainer to be their MP in 2017. Where is the sense in that?

I can think of dozens of reasons to dislike or distrust Stephen Kinnock.

Voting Remain is not one of them!

The way I see it is if your voted in as a MP then you need to represent the folk that voted for you and carry out the will of the people, if Mr Kinnock feels so strongly about remain and intends to vote against the will of the people then he should tell his constituents that this don't sit right with his morals and step down....so for me another MP with no Integrity.

So, are you saying Kinnock should be voting for May's deal - a deal that bears no resemblance to the promises from the leave campaigners in 2016 and is actively opposed by many of the politicians who campaigned to leave in 2016?

That's a good Question I think what was promised and what project fear says will happen the weeks, months after we leave was is pure fantasy. as far as May's deal goes if he feels he can't vote for it then abstain but don't vote for something opposite to what your constituents want.

Kinnock wasn’t the the only mp, remain or leave, to vote differently to the majority of thier constituents, why single him out?

I'm certainly not looking to defend Stephen fecking Kinnock, but .. what a bizzare viewpoint.

The residents of Aberavon dont own the guy,. He's not some kind of puppet with a collective, communal , morphing 'brain transplant'.
The people of Aberavon voted for what they wanted in the referendum.
Kinnock might not quite think the same (for ... whatever reason.. )
They can vote him out soon enough if they dont like him nor agree.
Though..... what else are they going to vote in Aberavon? - Tory? UKIP? Monster Raving Loony?:shrug2:

Yeah you right the people of Aberavon voted in a Public Schoolboy from Ealing.
the next general election will be very interesting, Corbyn and co think their gonna walk it :hehe:can't wait to see their faces when a lot of them (Kinnock being one of many don't get backed) and my viewpoint may seem bizarre to you Vimto but its certainly what a lot of British folk are thinking right now.

It's not bizarre at all. I think that you're spot on there. Labour needs to clean house once and for all. The centrist, pro-Blair faction, are clinging on like clinkers hanging from someone's arse. Having these poisonous intellectual dwarfs in the party is like trying to drive a car with the handbrake firmly on.

Won't be voting Labour if there is an election in a few weeks . I think an election will solve nothing and, like you, I don't think Labour will walk it . More likely another hung parliament and a delay in article 50 before the inevitable referendum.

I think this will happen though
1 May loses her deal . Unlike Cameron she will have the balls to stay on
2 Corbyn has vote of no confidence and loses
3 MPs vote on various options probably not getting a majority on any of them
4 We leave with no deal because they spent 2 years faffing about or a second referendum . More likely no deal because that is the default position voted for by many MPs who don't want no deal . Thick as shite a load of them are .

The point that Kinnock will automatically have the same viewpoint on any subject at any time that more than 50% of his constituents happen to have, by itself, is bizarre.
I would agree that Aberavon is now likely going to be faced with a very poor 'choice' come next election, and its prime time for a new candidate

That opens up another can of worms altogether. The fact is since being in the EU the quality of politicians in individual countries has deteriorated considerably compared with forty or fifty years ago. Individual country's parliaments have become no more than talking shops, as powers have seeped away over decades to unelected unrepresentative bodies in Brussels. Our democratic processes have been eroded in just the way that Harold Wilson was warned about all those years ago.

I agree, number one must be he's left wing, ergo bereft of any sort of common sense.

    This

you vote for your MP to represent you, and usually this means having someone who shares a lot, but not all, of your ideals.

Wouldn't his parents pensions be guaranteed anyway? I can't imagine the EU not honoring them.
