As others have said. Brawl in cell block 99....
Turn your hearing aid up Pops
That's very helpful, thank you
This is one of the best thing I've watched in years, in tears most episodes so far.
is he an alcoholic detective in the 19th century or something?
No mate, spin off from the film of the same name.
A documentary crew follow around a group of vampires who all share a house.
Really funny, Taika Waititi who made Thor Ragnarock directed and starred in the film and is involved and directed the first episode of the series.
I liked the film version of that, might have to give the tv show a whirl
ok i'll keep my eye out for that. cheers.
I think the series is funnier than the film.
Matt Berry steals every scene he's in. Genuine tears of laughter.
i'm sure matt berrys in something else new as well. as i said above. i'll google it
Is that the one with Vince Vaughan?
Yeah where he just goes around fucking people up in ever more wonderful and painful looking and sounding ways.
Started watching it when I was on the treadmill the other day but I just couldn’t take Vince Vaughan seriously in the tough man role and switched it off after about 20 minutes.
It felt like it was a pisstake / parody.
It sort of is. I was the same. I only fully watched it the other day. The film doesn't get going until he's in jail and then it just doesn't stop.
I actually thought Vince Vaughan did a great job personally!
I didn’t get as far as that. I think I only got as far as him moving into his new place. Perhaps I’ll try again.
Yeah. That's how far I got first. Persevere. It's a bit stupid but my days it's enjoyable. Very satisfying in a weird way.
As I say, didn’t get very far. Thought the scene where he beats his wife’s car up was cringe, but probably me typecasting him.
Rotten Tomatoes gave it 91% so maybe I’ll try again.
By the end you just want him to win.
