I seem to recall Eddie or Dennis (maybe both) having/using a "gym" above the Hilldip shop or Post Office by the Highfields Pub many moons ago (mid to late 60s). Well before Eddie's singing days in Marbella...
And on the recent other subjects of Billy Waith / Maes y Coed Rd area... Billy used to drive a delivery van for Wonderloaf Bakery on Maes y Coed Rd back in the early/mid 70s if I recall correctly.
Wow! Walking up there past a children's entertainer's house you were lucky to get to the top without your woggle being played with...especially dressed in a cub/scout uniform.
