There was nothing malicious in the challenge.
It was a committed attempt to win the ball, but risky in the conditions and given the pathetic lack of contact allowed in the game today. Fine to pull shirts, deliberately obstruct players or fall over at any hint of contact, but proper full blooded tackling ........
His feet were both grounded as well
Just got home. No not really. Though my daps are still wet!!
Lent my car to the ex Mrs, on Friday, so had to walk from one end of Barry to another to pick my boy up, to go to the game. Got soaked. Had to "borrow" clothes from my 16 year old "he's a big lad". Looked like the typical "look at the that sad twat, trying to look young"!
Caught the train from Cadoxton to Grangetown. Got off an it was literally a monsoon. We were soaked from top to bottom. Shivering in the ground. 1 - 0 down after 3 mins.
"Fuck it I thought"
"It'll be alright" said Junior. How right he was.
After a great game I dropped him home. We were both soaked to the bone. First thing she said was
"There's fireworks over the Island"
I went home!
btw the wind in red seats is horrendous and after being searched why do I have to show my card 3 times?
