And the vast majority are zero hours contracts in the gig economy.

No matter how much they dress the figures up, those really, really don't count Nuge.

What it really means is 1000 every day chipped off some benefit and on to universal credit. Because they do a shift a week at Mcdonalds or for deliveroo or Waggamama, the government class them as working. They could turn up to work tomorrow and be told to go home. Hardly work as we know it.

Ah, but who told you all of those figures and "facts"?!
    You didn't measure them yourself.
Some may have some basis, but most will not.
Where did you get them from ? ;)

You can tell they are not real jobs because wages are not rising like they should be as we near what could be described as full employment. The economists would say this means that the price for labour goes up but it's not happening. What @Nugent is missing is that wages may be rising the fastest in a decade but that's from a decade of almost no growth and it's still not really overtaking inflation. All parties jiggle the stats to make themselves look good.

wasnt the wording, we send 350m to the EU every week, lets fund our health service instead.

not, we will directly send all money sent to the EU into the health service

people have banged on about that bus but it was obvious all EU contributions wouldnt go to one sector. still it was worded in a way to lie, it could be said

Ahh don't bother with them Nuge, pointless explaining real life to the lefties. They are either 14 year old children or "work" for WAG, can forgive the kids but the arseholes can go fuck themselves. We are the working class, we work, pay a lot of tax for these scum to spend most of the day on internet sites. Old Dayo pulled a few up a several years ago, got him into a load of shit.

But hey, lets get rid of the current bunch of twats, have Corbyn and Abbott in.

The NHS is a massive drain on public finances largely due to having utter fuckwits in charge. The nurses, ambulance drivers, medics in some parts of the country do a magnificent job for relatively little money. Major problem with the Tory's is they haven't sorted out the shit storm that labour created with their jobs for the boys, girls and those not quite sure. Makes it easier for them to drift into the non-jobs and trouser 100k+ for being a pain in the arse.
I'd cut the funding and hold the people that spend that amount of money for what is frankly a joke of a public service to account. It is a fuckin disaster zone of accountability.

just passing by and saw this post and thought i would share something regarding the NHS. My mate retired from the estates at UHW last june and i went to his retirement party.
he told me that thirty years ago everything was done by post and telephone and there were 10 nurses to every pen pusher. 30 years on we are in a cyber world where everything is done by e.mail and computer yet as he leaves there are 10 pen pushers to every nurse and therin lies the problem with the NHS as far as I can see

the return of the myopic political posters, oh joy. Just on R4's Today this am

John McDonnell - will you reverse the benefits changes to assist those worse off? Would he give a straight answer?

Phil Hammond - given you have protected some areas, and since you are saying over the average it will be a zero sum game, can you confirm that some departments will see cuts? would he give a straight answer?

both sides as bad as each other. The issue is the ideologues on here just can't see it, blinded by their own stupidity.

Zero hour contract is not self employed though is it. You can't for instance send a replacement to do your job if you're ill. Effectively you are a worker yet are not treated like one. I agree that they suit some people but I also think there are a lot of people who would like to know what hours they are doing from one week to the next. Particularly those who are not skilled enough to command a salary such as yourself.
