Having a moment this morning and looking back.

    What an incredible year.

Amazing away wins - most notably Norwich, Hull, Brentford...

Fantastic moments at CCS... Reading game, home wins in the Prem

And seriously good support home and away.

    What an incredible year.

My fave moment... out of many

Bamba’s goal v Brighton and any one of Pattrrson’s or the superb one by Hoillet v Brighton or away at Norwich, beating Wolves .. all great contenders

    Thank you Cardiff City

This is one of the main reasons I love football (and riding my bike)

City losses can proper put you down, but reflecting on a 12 months always has some bloody good highlights and these aren't any of them.

But we've earned it after completely Warnocking the championship. Pissing a lot of fans off as we have and continue to do in the Premiership.

A 12 months in which we started on New Years Day with a loss to QPR.

We marched on, going into April and that fateful night against Wolves where all hopes for automatic promotion seemed lost, after 2 PELANTY misses a mere 4 days before the loss at Villa by the boot Jack Grielish. More panic. They were on the charge, as were Fulham.

Derby being bastards because of a little snow, despite the Club Shop being open pushing our game back to a Tuesday night. Where we lost. Panic levels hitting an absolute new Cardiff City high.

As it seemed the lowest, it clicked. A huge win at Hull. Bringing us to the last day of the season. And that fateful Sunday in the sun. We did it.

And now we have a centre back who's very mention on social media to Liverpool fans instantly makes them say "He isn't better than Van Dijk, shut up".

A makeshift striker in a right back, in the premiership, in which the manager saqys he can't defend. But scores and dances.

And a manager, who literally everyone else hates.

So here's to you, Cardiff City.

    Derby away for me.
I was working 45 mins away from the ground, me and the boys went, lost 3-1.
    I thought we've blown it.
Fulham were racing through the division.

Reading home, we were so lucky Fulham run out of steam, cos I tell you now, we wouldn't have won the play offs .

What happened happened and the rest is history.

Every home win this season, I've left the ground buzzing.

    And just think.
The years not over yet. A win today will silence all the Facebook plastics , it's written in the wind isn't it? With OGS taking over?

Can't believe I'm missing the game. ST holder and I missed man city and now man Utd cos of fucking family occasions and visits.

    I am fucking tamping

Words couldn’t describe how I felt after the Derby game, I had half a day in school, came home because of a ‘dentist appointment’ and was buzzing to go.

I couldn’t help but think that we were gonna coast through after Paterson’s goal, how wrong I was.

Going home that night was probably the worst I felt all season.

But I’d never change 2017/18 for the fucking world.

AND the moment Brentford scored in the last minute against Fulham while we were on the coach coming back from Norwich.

We were stopped at a roundabout and there were bodies everywhere :hehe:, the people on the cars around us were just frozen in open mouthed disbelief :hehe::hehe::aya:

I remember that disallowed goal :rage2:

Had a spare ticket so I gave it to my mate for his first ever City game and according to him, I went insanely angry.

But yeah some memorable moments, I remember a few days before the Reading game, I had an exam and I had to write an essay and I wrote the whole thing about football! :hehe: Didn't help I have a superstition in which I have to wear a City shirt during every exam.

Being in the Premier League is surreal. Reading game, I saw it at a sports bar and asked a mate of mine to pinch me. Our first Premier League win vs Fulham, I invited a friend to study before then I put the game on and spent the time watching, shouting and screaming. We have an in-joke that I will break my sofa while watching football coz I go so crazy!

What is best tho was seeing us play a Premier League home game IN BLUE. It feels as if it's our first season in the Premier League and after all the blood, sweat and tears (last two are kinda literal), we made it. After all the heartbreak, identity crisis, infighting, going down to our lows, we bounced back and made it.

To Neil Warnock and the players, thank you for making my 2k18 amazing. I hope I can use your spirit and energy in my personal life in order to achieve my dreams :aya:

I suffer from a crap memory so I find it difficult to pick out individual moments but generally, whilst we may not have the most talented team in the premier, we have a team that will run through brick walls for their team mates, their manager and for us.
And there’s more. They all seem like genuine, normal lads. No airs and graces, no primadonnas.

I’ve enjoyed every minute of the football this season, even the losses. Sure, I’m not a purist like some, I enjoy seeing some graft, a good solid tackle, goals.

But even more than that, after the red embarrassment, the ogs/Trollope era, Warnock and the team have given us our pride back.

I’d also like to thank the fans, the atmosphere they’ve generated has been fantastic.

Forgot how mental that Reading game was until I was talking to a mate yesterday.

The odds of Fulham falling at the final hurdle, after being unbeaten from December 16th onwards, and us going up even with a draw, were unbelievable.

Gary rhymes with Spunk did us a favour that day.

AND what a way to finish it.

My lad goes away to Uni next year and every minute with him is precious.

He’s been everywhere with me and been through the highs and lows always smiling, never moaning even when we are shite.

Stood side by side singing our hearts out. You can’t buy that.

Quite emotional today sharing this amazing moment with him and his mate .

    What a year.
