A decent read.
A decent read about the cop who shone a light on the endemic corruption in the NYPD and the lack of support from his superiors, the only thing that lets it down is the fawning way the author writes about him.
I thought you only read fiction?
Good film made from this. Al Pacino if my memory serves me.
From what I remember of the film and now having read the book it was greatly exaggerated.
A look at the proliferation of PMC in Iraq and the disastrous consequences of letting unregulated bands of armed men loose in an environment where they faced no consequences for their actions.
Some of the companies were so poorly run the owners should have been in prison for criminal negligence while others,particularly Blackwater acted like the Waffen SS.
One of the best written books I've read in years.
Chronologically the first of the Hannibal books and a bloody good read

An interesting and moving account of Arthur Dodds war, including his 22 months in Auschwitz.
A great read on the day to day schedule of making Moores first Bond,I enjoyed it more because it's one of my favourite films and a great insight into how filming are made.
A ghost,terrorist,revenge and love story,very good.
