Someone tell me something interesting. For instance I know that the Nazis's invented methadone because they were cut off from a supply of raw opium to give their soldiers pain relief in the field.

On October 17, 1814, a three-story-tall vat of beer burst at the Messrs. Henry Meux and Co. brewery. The explosion was so forceful it caused other vats to explode as well. The resulting 570-ton tidal wave of beer knocked down the brick wall of the brewery and flooded the surrounding street and houses.

Two buildings collapsed under the weight of the liquid as it surged down Tottenham Court Road. In total, eight people died during the event. A court determined the incident to be an "act of God."

Looks like Hugh must have been hit by a bus or something in the 1900's as he hasn't survived a sinking ship since.

Hugo Boss designed the SS and SA uniforms (yes I've said it before but someone might have missed it:hehe:).

In the 13th century children were baptized in beer when water was in short supply. A tradition carried on in my family to this day.

Adolf Hitler invented the autobahn and designed the VW Beetle, he also only had one bollock.

The phrase “Back to square one” originated during the radio broadcast of the 1927 FA Cup final between Cardiff City and Arsenal.

First time a National anthem was sung at a rugby match was in 1905 between Wales and NZ. When in response to the NZ Haka the whole ground spontaneously sang the Welsh anthem
