Who owned the plane Sala died in?
last known owner was a accountant from bonsall in matlock Derbyshire female aged 42 (Apparently)
I heard The agent had a vested interest in the company and wanted Sala to fly with that company so he could make more money out of the deal.
Someone's in the shit anyway by the looks of it. Hope they throw the book at them!
The insurance position with regard to the plane, public liability and accountability, could turn out to be very very messy indeed.
After seeing the photo of the actual plane, how the heck did someone actually think that it was safe and was going to fly across the channel in winter given the weather conditions and time of day!!
I really do hope someone is going to get some time over this.
I read somewhere it used to be illegal in France to fly these single propeller aircraft at night until they relaxed the laws.
